ナイト・レンジャー（Night Ranger）のジャック・ブレイズ（Jack Blades）が、ギリシャのHR/HM専門ウェブサイト・Rockpages.grの独占インタビュー（2024年2月28日に公開）で、B’zの松本孝弘が主宰する日米バンド「TMG」の2nd アルバムがリリースされることを示唆した。
同サイトにはジャックの言葉が、次のように綴られている。
「Jack Blades spoke exclusively to Rockpages.gr in an interview that you will have the chance to read and watch in a video, where among other things he revealed that a second album will be released by TMG, featuring himself, Eric Martin and Japanese guitarist Tak Matsumoto, 20 years after the first release.
“Well, well, how about you mean maybe there might be a TMG, two? Well, you’ll have to hold that thought for about another week or so before we. Or, before you might hear something circulating about something like that. Eric. Yes, I just texted Eric.
Let me see. What did Eric say to me? Eric: “Okay, you do this song, this one and this one. I’ll do this one. This sounds like more like the first album song… I don’t want to be spilling the beans, I’m afraid you might have to wait a week or two or three.
Tak is a great guitarist. He’s been a great friend of mine for the last 20 years. I mean, you know, he comes to our shows when we’re in Japan. I go see him. He lives in L.A. also. He’s got a house there
I’ve been so blessed to have played with some of the greatest guitar players. I mean, Brad Gillis, you know, Jeff Watson, I mean, Neil Schon, Doug Aldrich, Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw, Tak Matsumoto, man, Tak is ough! He’s an amazing guitar player, amazing writer and a producer and everything”.」
